Jake Wolf, a rhythmic force behind the drum kit, stands as a dynamic and passionate drummer whose beats resonate with energy and creativity. Hailing from the Washington D.C. area, he graduated from the Hartt School, University of Hartford's performing arts conservatory, and honed his skills in Music Industry Studies and Music Engineering at the University of Colorado-Denver.
Based in Vail, Colorado since 1997, Jake is a twice Grammy-nominated music educator. When he’s not teaching drums, piano, guitar, bass, and ukulele, you’ll find him on drums for his bands Sages and Spirits, Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue, and Pickin’ on the Dead, as well as collaborating with musicians across the country and around the world. Committed to connecting the arts to his community, Jake served as Councilor/Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Avon, Colorado from 2012-2020, where he leaves a legacy of spearheading the development of the Avon Pavilion, a year-round cultural and entertainment venue for festivals, concerts, art exhibitions and theater performances.
